She has participated in masterclasses led by outstanding pianists and pedagogues such as Eliso Virsaladze, Pascal Devoyon, Mikhail Voskresensky, Kálmán Dráfi, and Takako Takahashi.

Haruka is a laureate of numerous national and international piano competitions. She won First Prize at the Japan Piano Competition in 2020, First Prize and the Grand Prix at the Danubia Talents International Competition in Hungary in 2024, First Prize and the Grand Prix at the K Competition in Tokyo, the Silver Prize at the International Chopin Competition in Asia in 2017, and Second Prize at the Paderewski in Memoriam International Piano Competition in Poland.

She has performed, among others, at the Sumida Triphony Hall in Tokyo, the Radziwiłł Palace, the Embassy of Japan in Poland, and KAWAI concert halls in Osaka, Hiroshima, and Warsaw.

She shares her knowledge with the younger generation of pianists in Poland. Haruka has a deep understanding of the works of Frédéric Chopin and Polish piano music, which she continually explores and brings to life in her performances.

For you, Haruka Matsumoto will perform the most famous works of Frédéric Chopin in the Fryderyk Concert Hall.

The concerts are two-part recitals lasting approximately 60 minutes, based on the 19th-century tradition of salon music gatherings. During the intermission, guests will be offered a glass of sparkling wine.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the concert begins.
