Achievements

Yaryna Rak graduated from the Lviv Academy of Music named after M. Lysenko in the piano class of Maria Krushelnycka and in the opera singing class of Wolodymyr Ignatenko and Ludmila Bożko. She also completed an artistic internship in the opera singing class of Izabela Kłosińska at the F. Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. Winner of piano and vocal competitions in Poland and abroad. Scholarship holder of the President of Ukraine and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland. For a few years she taught her chamber singing class at the Music Academy in Lviv, and a master course in interpretation and vocal technique at the University of Music in Tromsø. Currently is a soloist tutor of the Teatr Wielki - Polish National Opera in Warsaw. She collaborates with numerous festivals, philharmonics and theaters in Poland and abroad as a singing tutor and an opera singer.

Halina Klymkiv-Szkodzińska is Warsaw based concert pianist, chamber musician and accompanist. She was born in Lviv, Ukraine, where she graduated from the Music Academy named after M. Lysenko I’m class of Lidii Krykh. She is a laureate of international piano competition „Adilia Alieva Piano Competition” in Gaillard (France). She performs several times on the stage of the Lviv Philharmonic as a soloist, with the accompaniment of an orchestra, as well as in a chamber ensemble. She has made several international concerto appearances and has been invited to many prestigious venues and festivals, such as the European Music Festival in Neerpelt (Belgium), Festival of contemporary music (Kyiv, Ukraine), Intenational L. van Beethoven Piano Competition ( Czech Republic). In her work she combines performing musician activity with teaching activities. Her teaching career in Warsaw started in 2006 at music school as a piano teacher, alongside a role of an accompanist at ballet school. She is particularly interested in F. Chopin and Ukrainian piano music which she explores and presents during her concerts. Her debut CD was issued 2013.
