SUMMER CONCERT BY CANDLELIGHT | MACIEJ POLISZEWSKI

SUMMER CONCERT BY CANDLELIGHT | MACIEJ POLISZEWSKI

Achievements

By the light of candles, we will listen to beautiful music, and during the break on our charming patio, under the moonlight, we will treat ourselves to a glass of exquisite champagne.

In the elegant interior of the Fryderyk Concert Hall, illuminated only by candlelight, we will listen to extraordinary artists - the outstanding musicians of our time.

The concert program, in addition to piano recitals, will also feature chamber music. Alongside the works of Fryderyk Chopin, we will hear compositions from baroque to late romanticism - by composers who influenced his work (including Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart) as well as representatives of a broad spectrum of European classical and romantic music (such as Vincenzo Bellini, Giacomo Puccini, Charles Gounod).

The concerts are two-part recitals lasting about 60 minutes, based on the popular 19th-century idea of salon musical gatherings. During the concert break, we will offer you a glass of sparkling wine.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the concert.

Maciej is a Professor of the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, where he also completed his undergraduate studies. He also taught piano at the Academy for many years.

Maciej has furthered his studies at the Music Academy in Moscow (under Professor W. Mierżanow) and the Julliard School of Music in New York (under Professor M. Munzo).

Throughout his career Maciej has performed as a soloist and with many world renown orchestras in countries such as: Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain and the USA.

Maciej is a Laureate of silver medals at piano competitions in Barcelona and Vercelli.
