SUMMER CONCERT BY CANDLELIGHT | KOKI SUETSUGU

LETNI KONCERT PRZY ŚWIECACH | KOKI SUETSUGU

Achievements

By the light of candles, we will listen to beautiful music, and during the break on our charming patio, under the moonlight, we will treat ourselves to a glass of exquisite champagne.

In the elegant interior of the Fryderyk Concert Hall, illuminated only by candlelight, we will listen to extraordinary artists - the outstanding musicians of our time.

The concert program, in addition to piano recitals, will also feature chamber music. Alongside the works of Fryderyk Chopin, we will hear compositions from baroque to late romanticism - by composers who influenced his work (including Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart) as well as representatives of a broad spectrum of European classical and romantic music (such as Vincenzo Bellini, Giacomo Puccini, Charles Gounod).

The concerts are two-part recitals lasting about 60 minutes, based on the popular 19th-century idea of salon musical gatherings. During the concert break, we will offer you a glass of sparkling wine.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the concert.

Koki Suetsugu is a pianist from Saitama, Japan.

Born on June 11, 1998, he began his musical journey by starting to learn the piano at age 14. Graduating from music high school in Saitama, Japan, Koki then travelled to Poland, the home of Chopin, to attend and graduate from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music under Professor Jerzy Sterczynski.

Koki is a laureate of a number of international piano competitions. He has also participated in the masterclasses of Professor Yukio Yokoyama and Professor Anna Jastrzebska Quinn.

Today Koki performs at many concerts and cultural events in Poland and abroad. He is also the inspiration and creator of an online piano school in Japan.

For you, Koki Suetsugu will perform the most famous pieces of Fryderyk Chopin in the beautiful Fryderyk Concert Hall.
