LA BELLE NUIT | ROBERT SKIERA | ANDŻELIKA WIŚNIEWSKA
We invite you to a piano and vocal concert featuring the music of Frédéric Chopin
Although primarily regarded as a composer of genius piano literature, Chopin also left a body of youthful songs written before his departure from Poland. These are refined, intimate miniatures, inspired by poetry, folk tradition, and the aesthetics of the salon.
La Belle Nuit is a new concert series in which, alongside piano works, these rarely performed vocal pieces reveal a less familiar side of the composer.
The evening takes place in an intimate setting. The program offers a subtle balance between piano and voice, form and atmosphere. A glass of sparkling wine will be served during the intermission.
La Belle Nuit is an encounter with Chopin’s music in its most intimate dimension.
