Adam Goździewski is a young brilliant pianist and chamber music player, who despite his young age has performed all over the world in many prestigious concert venues and festivals to great acclaim. Nationally Warsaw (The National Philharmonie, The Royal Castle, Chopin and his Europe Festival), Duszniki Zdrój (66th International Chopin Festival), Lańcut (Castle), and abroad Norway (Unge Talenter Festiwal, Dorbak), Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Estonia (The National Concert Hall in Tallinn), France (Chopin Festival a Paris), USA (Carnegie Weill Recital Hall, New York), Macedonia (St. Sofia Church, Ohrid), Russia, Austria (Chopin Festival in der Kartause in Gaming), and Japan (Yumehieo Hall in Hammamatsu, Bunka Hall, Negaragawa Hall in Gifu).
Adam performed 18 Chopin recitals during the World’s Exhibition EXPO2015 in Milan.
At the 17th International Chopin Competition in Warsaw, in 2015, Adam represented Poland. For his many outstanding music achievements Adam has received, from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland, numerous awards. These awards are additional to the many prizes Adam has won at prestigious piano competitions, both domestic and international: Poland, Ukraine, Russia ( Tomsk, 1st prize, 2013), Italy ( Barletta, Grand Prix and Gold Medal, 2011), Slovenia ( Radovljica, 3rd Prize and special prize for the best performance of Chopin’s Mazurka, 2014), Macedonia ( Ohrid, Grand Prix and Golden Plaque, 2014) and Estonia ( Narva, Grand Prix, EMCY Prize, TFCI Award, 2014).
Enthusiastic reviews have followed both his live performances and recordings, which have been broadcasted by France Musique Radio, Polish Radio and Estonian Radio & TV Broadcasting Company. Born on the 5th of December, 1996 in Łódź, Poland, Adam is currently furthering his musical expertise studying with Professor Joanna Ławrynowicz and Krystyna Makowska-Ławrynowicz at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. Adam’s music odyssey started at Prof. Anna Grzegorkiewicz-Ciesielska’s piano class at the State Primary Music School in Skierniewice and continued by graduating with honours from the Zenon Brzewski Secondary School of Music in Warsaw.
